Antique Willow Pattern Transferware Platters – 17.75″ – J & G Meakin Blue Willow – Sold Individually

Antique Willow Pattern Transferware Platters – 17¾″ – J & G Meakin & Blue Willow – Sold Individually

A beautiful pair of large, heavy antique Willow pattern serving platters, offered individually.

Both platters feature the famous Willow landscape with pagodas, bridges, a boat, willow trees, distant architecture and flying birds, framed by an exceptionally detailed geometric and floral border.

At 17¾″ × 14″, these are substantial statement-size platters with a wonderful heavy feel and impressive presence. They are ideal for serving, display on a large sideboard or hutch, or as dramatic focal pieces in a traditional blue-and-white or transferware wall collection.

An especially interesting detail is that the two platters are virtually identical in size and form and fit precisely one inside the other, suggesting a closely related mould or manufacturing origin.

Each platter is sold individually. Please select your preferred option.
