Rimantique curates collections of vintage and antique tableware for interior design and commercial projects — from large-scale decorative plate walls to bespoke tablescapes. Each collection is assembled for the space, so it feels collected over time rather than ordered from a catalogue.

Decorative plate installations curated for peopleCare Communities dining spaces.
Rimantique collaborated with peopleCare Communities on distinctive decorative plate installations for their dining spaces. Working with the peopleCare design and procurement team, we sourced and curated collections of vintage blue-and-white transferware and decorative china in a range of patterns, shapes and sizes — each collection assembled specifically for the project.
The finished gallery walls bring character, history and visual interest to the dining rooms while complementing the colour palette and furnishings of each space.
The challenge of a vintage gallery wall at this scale is finding enough individual pieces that work together without looking matched. For these projects we curated dozens of plates across different makers, periods and patterns — balancing scale, colour, shape and design.
Classic transferware, floral motifs, scenic patterns and traditional blue-and-white china combine into collections that read as cohesive while every plate keeps its own character. The result is a wall that feels organic, layered, and genuinely collected.

Collections can be developed around a specific colour palette, aesthetic, quantity, size range or design concept. Whether a project needs ten pieces or several dozen, we source vintage and antique pieces for the space and coordinate them into a collection ready to install.
