Vintage Soviet Hand-Painted Floral Tray – Zhostovo Style – Black Lacquer Metal – USSR Folk Art

✨ Vintage Soviet Hand-Painted Floral Tray – Zhostovo Style – Black Lacquer Metal – USSR Folk Art ✨

A striking hand-painted floral tray in the classic Russian Zhostovo tradition, featuring a vibrant bouquet of roses and wildflowers against a deep black lacquer ground. Rich red blooms, soft white petals, golden yellow accents, and delicate blue florals are layered with sweeping green foliage, creating beautiful depth and movement.

The scalloped silhouette is framed with a warm gilded leaf border, adding refinement and contrast to the dramatic black background. The reverse retains its original Soviet-era price marking reading “Цена 11 руб. 50 коп.” (Price 11 rubles 50 kopecks) — a wonderful historical detail that anchors this piece firmly in the USSR period.

A bold statement for maximalist interiors, cottagecore styling, or as authentic Cold War-era decorative art.
