Vintage Silverplate Footed Gallery Tray / Decorative Book Holder

Vintage Silverplate Footed Gallery Tray / Decorative Book Holder

✨ A substantial vintage silverplate piece with beautiful decorative presence. This rectangular footed tray features an elegant pierced gallery border, ornate scrolling feet and richly detailed side handles. Its heavier construction gives it a quality feel and makes it especially attractive for both traditional serving and decorative use.

One of its best styling possibilities is as a book holder. Because the center is open, books can stand directly on the tabletop while the silverplate gallery surrounds them and helps keep them neatly grouped in place. Add a small planter, vase or decorative object beside the books for a layered library or console-table display.
