Vintage Mason’s Vista Blue Transferware Covered Soup Tureen With Ladle — English Ironstone

🏰 Vintage Mason’s Vista Blue Transferware Covered Soup Tureen With Ladle — English Ironstone 🇬🇧

A magnificent vintage Mason’s Patent Ironstone covered soup tureen in the iconic Vista pattern, complete with its original-style serving ladle.

This is a substantial statement piece featuring rich cobalt-blue transfer decoration against warm ivory ironstone. The pastoral architectural scene wraps around the body, framed by beautifully detailed trees and foliage, while the domed lid is decorated with additional landscape imagery and an elaborate grapevine border.

The sculptural handles, softly scalloped rim and decorative lid finial give the tureen wonderful presence. Even displayed empty on a sideboard, hutch or dining table, it makes an impressive piece of classic English blue-and-white décor.
